vintage japanese shikishi painting

Hand painted and affixed to shikishi board, a specially prepared backing with subtle flecking and bold, gold trim that is traditionally used for Sumi ink painting, Shodo calligraphy, or watercolour illustration.
This shikishi comes inside a protective paper sleeve.
