Ewa : the forgotten ring
Like an unearthed relic from a bygone era, the forgotten ring is an elemental ode to the beauty of silver. Simple and almost brutalist in scale, it's the ultimate weather-beaten chunky design, with a matte finish hammered surface. Stack with more delicate pieces for a contrasting look, or make it your personal talisman as a singular statement.
Due to the individual nature of all hand-made pieces, your ring will vary ever-so-slightly from the picture.
materials : sterling silver
Avoid exposing your Ewa jewellery to extreme temperatures, moisture, and harsh chemicals like cleaning products. Store it in a dry and safe place away from direct sunlight, and polish with a soft, dry cloth.
band width : 1.5cm
size 8.5 : 15mm
Every piece of EWA jewellery is designed and crafted by Bianca Todorov in her Port Douglas studio.
Born in Melbourne and raised between Australia and Papua New Guinea, Bianca’s lifelong fascination with the natural beauty of hand-formed silver and gold adornments has coalesced into a distinctive and recognisable aesthetic.
Bold and emboldening, these chunky forms are alive with wonky, organic beauty, and feel wonderful to wear.
Bianca’s work is inspired by her time spent in Papua New Guinea over many years. Travelling through remote tropical areas around the mighty Sepik river, she credits her experiences with many language groups and their complex cultural traditions and ceremonial jewellery as the motivation to create Ewa.
