From Northern Honshu, this kokeshi, is a lovely example of the work of Nagatoshi Takahashi, a kokeshi maker known for unadorned, natural timber dolls. 

Each kokeshi has been thoughtfully hand selected on our travels to resonate as part of a larger collection or when displayed individually.
