These kokeshi ojisan & abasan (grandma & grandpa) are presented in a lidded cup, decorated with the crane and rising sun motif. This couple would make a meaningful anniversary gift - the crane has long been a symbol of longevity; when depicted against the background of the rising sun, it is associated wishes for long life and happiness.
