Yakiniku is a soy-based barbeque sauce, which also contains onions, garlic, ginger, apples, lemons, and other fruits and vegetables, balanced to enhance the flavour of your ingredients with sweetness and umami complexity. Use it to marinate grilled meats, to dress cooked vegetables, noodles and side dishes, or with barbequed seafood.

Kurosawa Soy Sauce has been brewing their delicious condiments using traditional methods for more than 100 years. Master brewers still use the original wooden barrels from the company's founding in 1905, utilising pure ingredients, decades of experience, and the delicately managed natural fermentation process.

The Kurosawa Soy Sauce company has its humble origins with the traditional miso and soy sauce recipes used by Edo period grain farmer Niemon Kurosawa. Over 120 years later, the thriving brewery is continued by the family's fourth generation, using many of the original ingredients, methods, and even the wooden barrels from the earliest fermentations

Today Kurosawa offers many delicious Japanese sauces and condiments including hishiogura (double-brewed soy sauce), awazuke, ponzu, mentsuyu, and yakiniku tare, adding rich and authentic flavour to your home cooking.
